World Premiere of “Vampire Hearts” at RiverBelle Dinner Theatre
A Magic Show unlike any you've ever seen!
The RiverBelle Dinner Theatre is thrilled to announce the premiere of an original, one-of-a-kind theatre performance, “Vampire Hearts,” opening on New Years Eve and running every Friday and Saturday night through February 13.
“Vampire Hearts” is about a league of vampires determined to take over the world. The story narrows in on one opposing force – one person set out to stop the inevitable. “Vampire Hearts” is a story of sweet, romantic love. Not only is it a love story, but also a story of hatred, exposing the forces of darkness and evil.
“Vampire Hearts” is visually spectacular, and high in production value. This very special show is the only one of its kind in the entire world. The story is told through narration, a dynamic orchestral and epic soundtrack, and brilliant acting by the area’s most talented performers. The execution of state-of the art special effects and illusion is what makes “Vampire Hearts” truly different from any other piece of theatre. Each scene is action packed, displaying beautiful illusionary imagery and brand-new technology never before applied to stagecraft. “Vampire Hearts” is a fast moving, dazzling tapestry weaving together all the elements of good theatre, as well as unbelievable, mind-blowing special effects, leaving the audience on the edges of their seats.
This past summer, Wendy Bell, owner of RiverBelle Dinner Theatre, was approached with an idea unlike any piece of theatre ever before mounted. It involved blending together two different performance art forms: theatre, as well as illusionary technology. The world premiere of a show of a unique format sounded like a good idea, especially given the fact the story revolved around vampires. If you liked the “Twilight” books or movies, you’ll be captivated by “Vampire Hearts!”
“Vampires are more popular now than ever before,” says Brian Ledbetter, writer and director of “Vampire Hearts.” “It only made sense to capitalize on what’s hot right now. Right now vampires are very universally enamored, which justified the excessive amount of hard work and money required to mount a show of this nature.” Aside from the typical rehearsal required to prepare a play, a tremendous amount of time and energy went into research and design of the illusionary special effects. “We are dedicated to giving our audiences what they deserve: a real treat.”
“Vampire Hearts” opens with a special New Years Eve Gala on December 31st, and continues to run every Friday and Saturday night through February 13th. Tickets are only $35 for a first class dinner and show, and $20 for dessert and show. Doors open at 6:30pm.
